SALES & MARKETING-CHEMICAL SPECIALTIES
CLIENT:
A
leading Canadian manufacturer and marketer of custom designed
industrial chemical products with over 80 years experience
serving a range of industries including plastics, steel, rubber,
metal working and wire from five North American locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting
directly to the President, the successful candidate will
strategically manage the sales and marketing activities of
their Chemical Specialties group. This key management position will provide sound leadership and focus
to the Canadian and US sales teams in order to maximize profitable
sales growth throughout North America. This position will interface
extensively with internal technical and operations staff as well as
customers, vendors, trade associations and regulatory bodies. Some
travel will be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The
candidate of choice must be a seasoned sales & marketing
professional capable of building and expanding the North American
success team. Preference will be given to candidates with a
minimum of 5 years sales/marketing management experience,
specifically from a specialty chemical environment and/or
rubber/plastics industry experience. Candidates must
have had previous trial experience and must thoroughly understand
the selling process which entails responding to the unique demands
of a wide variety of customers. We will be searching for candidates
with chemical/chemistry or mechanical engineering degree along with sound
business acumen and ideally a graduate business degree.
